Principles for good interpersonal relationships are timeless. Factors such as urbanization, the growing chasm between rich and poor, heightening ethnic tensions and political instability, great blocks of gospel-resistant peoples, and the pluralizing trends in cultures, all make skills in cross-cultural relationships increasingly needful now, and more needful than at any time in the past. Hence, this effort. I hope it will address unmet needs among persons committed to sharing the love of Christ effectively in a cross-cultural setting.
