Aggressive Christianity

The two messages in this book were preached by Mrs. Booth in London in 1880. She agreed to have them published three years later in hopes that indolent Christians would be aroused to go out aggressively into the highways and hedges and compel the perishing masses to come into the Great Feast that God had prepared for them.

These two sermons were originally printed in a little volume of sermons entitled Aggressive Christianity (Philadelphia: National Publishing Company for the Promotion of Holiness, 1883).

Both messages have been slightly abridged and edited.
