Editorial Purpose
EMQ (Evangelical Missions Quarterly) is published by Evangelism and Missions Information Service of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College. EMQ serves the missionary enterprise by:

Offering a forum for the exchange of concepts, strategies and resources

Reporting, analyzing, and interpreting significant trends in missions

  Encouraging and assisting readers in their personal and professional growth

 

Readership & Circulation
R
ates are based on a quarterly circulation of approximately 4,000 with about half going to 115 countries outside the United States. Advertising includes EMQonline link at EMISDirect home page & at EMQ home page.

Subscribers include: Missionaries, mission agency executives, mission professors, pastors, missionary candidates and students, school/church libraries, mission-minded church leaders, mission supporters, and mission board members.

Online Advertising

As EMQonline continues to grow, we would like to increasingly give your organization exposure to ourEMQ online readers as well as our EMQPrint readers.  Beginning in 2012 we will offer the option to send us a logo to use for the link we currently post on EMQonline. Our online links with logos will be a complementary service for advertising in our print edition.

Your organization's logo/graphic link will run for the issue you are advertising in for our print edition. Note: If you choose not to send us a logo, then we will post your name with a URL link to your home page.  Listings will still be in alphabetical order or at the discretion of the editor.

 

Closing dates (cutoff dates):

January issue: Reserve by October 1; Materials due October 15

April issue: Reserve by January 1; Materials due January 15  

July issue: Reserve by April 2; Materials due April 16

October issue: Reserve by July 1; Materials due July 15

Copy and Contract Regulations
All copy subject to editorial approval. The publisher reserves the right to change rates without advance notice. Contracts in effect at the time of rate change will be protected for two issues.

Commission and Discounts
Recognized advertising agencies are eligible for a 15% commission on gross billing (not applicable to 1/4 page ads).

No commission will be allowed if payment is received more than 60 days from the date of invoice.

Payment is due within 30 days of the date of invoice. No cash discount given for early payment.

Special Discount for 2011: Buy 3 Black & White ads, receive the 4th one free.

1/4 Page Ads: Available for Mission Sending Agencies only. Annual pricing $450 - please email us at:emis@wheaton.edu for specifications.  Deadline Oct 1 annually for reservations, artwork due Oct 15 for following year advertisement.

Use and Restrictions
Mailing lists available for "selected" use for information beneficial to our readers. Lists do NOT contain names of subscribers who asked to be kept confidential. US & Canada only.  Signed agreement and sample mailing piece required for approval. Must comply with industry ethics on list use. Not to be used for fundraising.

Payment terms
Net 30 days from date labels sent. Standard 20% commission to recognized brokers.
